Eighty Four: T&C Sunburn Classic

This past Saturday October 4th to be exact was T&C's Annual Sunburn Classic. I'm not sure what # their on but I want to say it was their 15th annual, but then again I could be wrong! This year T&C teamed up with Dakine for their event at the Mililani Skatepark. I pulled up 3-4 hours late and they were already on the 18 and over best trick so I missed most of it. However to my surprise the park was packed. When T&C puts on an event they only do it one way....and that's large. Lot's of peeps I haven't seen in years were in attendance. The place was so packed that it was kinda hard to squeeze in and get a glimpse of any skating. All I know is that Dakine brought down Paul Machnau, Chris Haslam, Brent Atchley, and Sierra Fellers. I caught a peep of Brent and Haslam sessioning the bowl but that was about it.Overall it seemed to be a successful event for T&C and definitely a treat for the local skateboarding community. Big ups to T&C for supporting Hawaii's skateboard scene and keeping us all entertained this past Saturday! Aloha

Trevor Webb is all grown up now. Trev used to come to the park before school with some candy, donuts, and a Mountain Dew and take care of business before he had to jump on the bus.
